PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (POWER WINDOW) Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that each power window regulator operates. Refer to «DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600430-S14258950922014022400000) . WARNING: Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function does not operate.   2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600430-S31361508392014022400000) . Check that each power window operates normally by opening and closing the window. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600430-S42868662452014022400000) . HINT: Each power window operates normally. NEXT: Go to next step
  3. CHECK WHETHER PARTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY Check that the power window components are installed correctly. OK Power window components are installed correctly. HINT: If the power window components are installed correctly, the problem has been caused by auxiliary battery disconnection while the power switch was on (IG), or the motor being overheated. NG --> INSTALL PARTS CORRECTLY OK --> END
  4. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600673-S23573581472014022400000)
  5. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600673-S23573581472014022400000)
  6. REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600673-S38114263982014022400000)

  1. CHECK FOR DTC Clear the DTC. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600430-S12065132122014022400000) . Check for DTCs.   4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH) Disconnect the Q25 multiplex network master switch connector. Disconnect the Q17 power window regulator motor LH connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q25-20 (UP) - Q17-10 (UP1) Always Below 1 ohms Q25-15 (DOWN) - Q17-7 (DWN1) Always Below 1 ohms Q25-20 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher Q25-15 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
  5. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Temporarily replace the multiplex network master switch assembly with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600673-S08550416372014022400000) . Clear the DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [03/2012 - ]»(ref-600430-S12065132122014022400000) . Check for DTCs.
