The multiplex communication system consists of 2 network systems
- Body Electronics Area Network (BEAN) - Consists of Body ECU, Driver Door ECU, Front Passenger Door ECU and Theft Deterrent ECU.
- Local Area Network (LAN) - Consists of Body ECU, Left Rear Door ECU and Right Rear Door ECU.
MULTIPLEX SYSTEM OPERATION
The multiplex communication system communicates among the body ECU, driver door ECU, front passenger door ECU, both rear door ECUs and theft deterrent ECU and controls the following systems according to the signals from respective sensors or switches.
- Automatic light control.
- Door lock control.
- Garage door opener.
- Headlight (with Daytime Running Lights).
- Headlight (without Daytime Running Lights).
- Interior light.
- Key reminder.
- Light auto turn off.
- Luggage compartment door opener.
- Moon roof.
- Power window.
- Theft deterrent.
- Wireless door lock control.
