ENGINE OIL SERVICE MESSAGE
Note. Some models may not be equipped with a "Engine Oil Service Message" mode. Manufacturer does not identify procedure by model.
To reset the maintenance system, press the RESET (or SELECT/RESET) button for more than 1 second. (Scheme 1) The display will change to "Engine Oil Service Message" mode. You can move to items by pressing the TRIP button and select the desired item by pressing the RESET button.

TPMS RESET INDEX
Tire Pressure Sensor Initiation
Note. In the following procedure, a TPMS sensor activation tool must be used. The manfacturer refers to their tool as a TPMS exciter scan tool.
Note. If tire pressure sensor is replaced, it will need to be initiated.
Note. Do not perform this procedure if vehicle is parked on a metal floor, roof, or on an alignment rack or lift. The metal will transfer the RF signals, which can cause the learn procedure to fail and set Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Read each tire pressure sensor ID in the following order: Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right.
- Connect TPMS exciter to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel. Register the 4 sensor IDs to receiver. see scheme 2and see scheme 3.
- Disconnect TPMS exciter from diagnostic link. Cycle ignition and wait 4 minutes. Ensure "NORMAL RECEIVER STATE" is now displayed.
- Check to see that the TPMS system recognizes each tire.
- Deflate a tire. Check to see that the low tire pressure warning indicator is illuminated and the correct wheel location is illuminated on the wheel location indicator. NOTE: It may take up to 4 minutes before the TPM system response.
- If the warning indicators do not illuminate, turn the wheel a quarter turn and repeat step 5.
- If the warning indicators illuminate, perform steps 5 & 6 on the remaining tires. If each tire passes, the TPM system has initiated all 4 tires.
- If the warning indicators do not illuminate after performing step 5 & 6, use the TPMS exciter to verify all 4 tire IDs have been registered.

Note. The state of the TPMS sensor should be"Normal Fixed Base mode".
- With ignition OFF, connect the GDS to the DLC.
- Select the "vehicle model" and "TPMS" on GDS vehicle selection screen, then select OK. Follow on-screen instructions.
- Read each tire pressure sensor ID in the following order: Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right.
- Connect TPMS exciter to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel. Register the 4 sensor IDs to receiver. see scheme 2and see scheme 3.
- Disconnect TPMS exciter from diagnostic link. Cycle ignition and wait 4 minutes.
- Check to see that the TPMS system recognize each tire.
- Use the TPMS exciter to verify all 4 tire IDs have been registered.
