Description

Back view camera will activate when the backup light is ON with the ignition switch ON and the shift lever in the R position. This system is a supplemental system that shows behind the vehicle through the LCD monitor mirror while backing-up.

WARNINGThis system is a supplementary function only. It is the responsibility of the driver to always check the inside/outside rearview mirror and the area behind the vehicle before and while backing up because there is a dead zone that can't be seen through the camera.

  1. Remove the tailgate trim in the trunk after removing the screws and clips. Refer to TAILGATE .
  2. Remove the tailgate garnish (A). Refer to OUTSIDE HANDLE REPLACEMENT
  3. Remove the back view camera (A) after loosening the screws (2 EA).
