Wheel Alignment 2 illustrations ~126 words

FLOOR JACK

Vehicle may be raised by positioning jack under front or rear frame rails. (Scheme 6)

Note. Use sub-frame rail lift points to hoist vehicle. Never raise vehicle with jack under axle tubes, body side sills, steering linkage components, drive shafts, engine/transmission oil pans, fuel tank or front suspension arms.

LIFTING VEHICLE WITH HOIST

Vehicle may be raised on single or twin-post swiveling arm, or ramp-type drive hoists. If using swiveling arm hoist, ensure lifting pads are positioned evenly at sub-frame lift points. (Scheme 7) All hoists should be equipped with proper adapters to support vehicle at frame rails only.
