ALTERNATIVE PROCEDURE

Note. If electric fuel pump is not operating, fuel must be drained through fuel fill fitting at tank. Refer to following procedures

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the fuel pump module. Refer to «MODULE, FUEL PUMP, REMOVAL»(ref-612715-S13519943522014043000000) .
3. After the fuel pump module has been removed, drain fuel tank into an approved diesel fuel draining station.

Note. Fuel system damage that was caused by incorrect or contaminated fuel that was introduced into the fuel system by the customer is not covered under warranty.
