INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION

- Verify the customer concern.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of damage and system integrity. VISUAL INSPECTION Mechanical Electrical Check for stuck/jammed switches and buttons Visibly damaged or worn components Loose or missing fasteners Fuse(s) Electrical connector(s) Wiring Harness
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the cause is not visually evident check the system for any logged Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and refer to the DTC Index.
