SETTING CHANGE FUNCTION
The settings of the automatic driving position system can be changed, using CONSULT-II and the display unit in the center of the instrument panel.

Note. After the setting is registered, the new setting is effective, even if the battery is disconnected.

- CHECK FUSE Check that any of the following fuses in the BCM are blown. NOTE: Refer to " «COMPONENT PARTS AND HARNESS CONNECTOR LOCATION»(ref-181231-S33087122642005080300000) ". OK or NG OK >> GO TO 2. NG >> If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of problem before installing new fuse. Refer to " «COMPONENT PARTS AND HARNESS CONNECTOR LOCATION»(ref-181231-S33087122642005080300000) ".
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (BCM) Disconnect BCM connector. Check voltage between BCM and body ground. OK or NG OK >> GO TO 3. NG >> Check harness for open and short between BCM and fuse.
- GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION (BCM) Check continuity between BCM and body ground. OK or NG OK >> BCM circuit is OK. Check the driver seat control unit. GO TO 4. NG >> Repair or replace the harness between BCM and ground.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT) Turn ignition switch OFF. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector. Check voltage between driver seat control unit connector B142 terminal 16A (R) and body ground. 16A (R) - Ground :Battery voltage. OK or NG OK >> GO TO 5. NG >> Repair or replace harness between driver seat control unit and fuse block (J/B) No. 1.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT (DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT) Check continuity between the driver seat control unit connector B142 terminal 14A (B/W), 15B (B) and body ground. 14A (B/W) - Ground :Continuity should exist. 15B (B) - Ground :Continuity should exist. OK or NG OK >> Driver seat control unit circuit is OK. NG >> Repair or place harness between driver seat control unit (LCU 02) and body ground.
