- Remove transaxle and flywheel. See appropriate TRANSMISSION SERVICING or CLUTCHES article. Remove oil pan. Pry crankshaft rear oil seal from oil seal retainer. Use care not to scratch sealing surfaces.
- Remove liquid gasket residuals from oil seal retainer, bolts and bolt holes. Apply liquid gasket to rear oil seal retainer.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-49499-S18023899312001011500000) .
