  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly. (For Turbo, refer to «AIR CLEANER»(/hyundai/veloster/i-2011-2015/remont/blowers-superchargers-turbochargers/#intake-system-exhaust-system-turbo) . For Non-Turbo, refer to «Removal»(ref-586071-S27017994612013111300000) )
  3. Disconnect the starter cable (B) from the B terminal on the solenoid then disconnect the connector from the S terminal (A).
  4. Remove the 2 bolts holding the starter, then remove the starter (A).
