DESCRIPTION

The triple switch is a combination of a medium switch as well as conventional low pressure and high pressure switches. The low pressure switch will turn off to stop compressor operation if refrigerant pressure is low. The high pressure switch will turn off to stop compressor operation if refrigerant pressure is too high. The medium switch will turn on at a medium level pressure to determine the A/C system is overheating. It will cool the A/C system by operating the radiator fan and the condenser fan at high speed.

The thermistor will detect the core temperature and interrupt the compressor relay power to prevent evaporator freezing by excessive cooling.

The thermistor will use the thermal negative characteristic.
