IDENTIFYING AQS CONNECTOR TERMINALS
Scheme 43
- Put the sensor part of AQS (A) toward the air inflow (intake) direction.
- Connect all of the power supply line and output line to AQS (A).
- Close the chamber (B) lid after putting the lines in order.
- Connect the air outlet part of vacuum pump (C) with the air inlet door of chamber (B) by using air hose.
- Turn on the power of vacuum pump (B).
- Supply the power to the AQS (A). (DC 12V)
- LED of AQS (A) is kept "ON" for the first 35 +/- 2 seconds after supplying the power.
- Wait until all of the LEDs are "OFF". Put the diesel engine exhaust gas into the chamber. Then check the LEDs of number 1 to 10 are "ON".
- After check LEDs are "ON". Put the clean air into the chamber. Then check LEDs are "OFF".
- Wait until all of the LEDs are "OFF".
- And then put the gasoline engine exhaust gas into the chamber, then check the LEDs of number 1 to 10 are "ON".
- After check LEDs are "ON". Put the clean air into the chamber. Then check LEDs are "OFF".
Sensitivity of used gas sensor
- Sensitivity at NO 2 0.3ppm: More than 2.8
- Sensitivity at Gasoline 10ppm: Less than 0.45
Delay time
- ON TIME (T on): 5 sec.
- OFF TIME (T off): 0 sec.
