Operating Procedure
- Suspension angle change resulted from vehicle's load change.
- Sensor angle change.
- Microprocessor calculates necessary head lamp angle change amount.
- Sending a proper signal to head lamp levelling device and driving actuator.
Operating Condition
- Ignition on
- Low beam on
- On stop: If sensor lever change is 2° and above, head lamp is operated after max. 1.5 sec.
- On driving: If vehicle velocity is over 4km/h (2.48mile/h), velocity change is not over 0.8-1.6km/h (0.5 ~ 1.0mile/h) per second, and loading condition is changed, then head lamp is operated.

- Auto head lamp leveling unit Using a Micro-processor, percept the operation lever's mechanical angle change or speed signal. As an actuator control device of inner control program, mounting on the rear center arm.
- Actuator Change the head lamp lighting direction up or down since automatic head lamp levelling unit sensing the input signal following the vehicle's statical changes.

- Remove the head lamp leveling unit linkage (A) from trailing arm.
- Loosen the mounting bolts (3EA) of automatic head lamp leveling unit assembly. Tightening Torque: 3-5 Nm (30~50 kg.cm, 2.21 ~ 3.68 lbf.ft)
- Remove the head lamp leveling unit connector.
- Remove the head lamp leveling unit assembly after removing the screws (2EA).
