Ignition Timing Hyundai Excel I

1. Check ignition timing with engine at normal operating temperature and with distributor vacuum hoses disconnected and plugged and transmission in Neutral.
2. Run engine at specified curb idle speed. Read ignition timing. At idle speed, mark should align with pointer. If mark is not present, set timing to specification. See IGNITION TIMING table. To adjust timing, loosen hold-down bolts and turn distributor.
