Power Windows: Overview Hyundai Accent I

Windows ~123 words

DESCRIPTION

A permanent magnet motor operates each of the power windows. The master switch assembly, located on driver's door, controls all of the power window motors. Each window sub-switch controls only the respective power window motors. With the window lock switch (part of main switch assembly) in the lock position, all window sub-switches will be disabled. Passenger's windows cannot be controlled from the respective window sub-switch, but they can still be controlled from master switch assembly.

OPERATION

When ignition switch is in ON position, battery voltage is applied to switch assembly. When either switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the respective power window motor. The power window motor is grounded through the opposite contact in the switch assembly.
