DTC P2610: PCM Ignition Off Internal Timer Malfunction Honda Odyssey I

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
  3. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS. Is P2610 indicated? YES - Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM (see «PCM UPDATING AND SUBSTITUTION FOR TESTING»(ref-220945-S16531944742006022100000) ), then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM (see «PCM REPLACEMENT»(ref-220946-S32339521312006022100000) ). NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the PCM.
