DTC P1121 & DTC P1122: THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR Honda CR-V I facelift

  1. If DTC P1121 is indicated, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check throttle position with throttle valve fully open. If TP percentage is 12.9 percent or more, problem is intermittent. System is functioning properly at this time. If TP percentage is less than 12.9 percent, replace throttle body (TP sensor is not serviced separately).
  2. If DTC P1122 is indicated, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check throttle position with throttle valve fully closed. If TP percentage is 16.9 percent or less, problem is intermittent. System is functioning properly at this time. If TP percentage is more than 16.9 percent, replace throttle body (TP sensor is not serviced separately).
