Note. Measure the valve stem installed height prior to disassembling cylinder head. Check valve installed height upon reassembly, see VALVE STEM INSTALLED HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS table.
- Mark valves for relocation. Measure the valve stem installed height and note. Disassemble cylinder head. Measure valve stem diameter. Replace valves not within specification. See VALVES table.
- Measure valve margin. Replace valves if valve margin is not within specification. See VALVE MARGIN SPECIFICATIONS table. Remeasure valve margin after grinding valves.
