REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| WARNING | Electrochromatic material may irritate eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If material is ingested, consult a physician or poison control center immediately. |
Note. Electrochromatic mirror cannot be repaired, and must be replaced as an assembly. DO NOT use ammonia-based cleansers on electrochromatic day/night mirrors. Spraying cleansers directly on mirrors is not recommended.

Removal & Installation (Blazer, Bravada, Envoy, Jimmy, Sonoma & S10 Pickup)
Use flat-bladed tool to remove wire cover from mirror. Disconnect harness connector. Insert small flat-bladed tool into slot from bottom. Press slightly to release tab and slide mirror off mount. To install, slide mirror onto mount, connect electrical connector and install wire cover.
Removal & Installation (Escalade, Pickup, Tahoe & Yukon - Old Style)
Disconnect harness connector and electrical wire cover. Remove screw from base and slide mirror off support. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Sierra, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon & Yukon XL - New Style)
Use flat-bladed tool to remove wire cover from mirror. Disconnect harness connector. Loosen set screw and slide mirror off of support. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mirror set screw to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
