TESTING
Before removing the wiper motor or washer pump from the vehicle, remove harness from the wiper motor and perform the switch checks in the appropriate WIPER WASHER SWITCH CHECK TABLE below.
The WIPER WASHER SWITCH CHECK TABLE should be used to check for proper switch operation after all wires are checked for continuity and fuses checked.
With ignition switch on, probe connector to dash switch. All voltage readings taken with respect to vehicle ground.
If the wiring and switches are OK, the problem is in the wiper motor or washer pump. Remove and replace the complete wiper motor unit or the washer pump.
