Removal
Drain transmission fluid and remove oil pan. Remove couplers from direct clutch and 2nd brake solenoids. Remove shift solenoids. Remove solenoid wire harness and grommet from upper side.
Installation
- Install grommet and solenoid wire harness to transmission case. Install direct clutch and 2nd brake solenoids to lower valve body. Install new shift solenoid "O" ring. Tighten shift solenoid bolts to 62-80 INCH lbs. (7-9 N.m).
- Install solenoid wires to each solenoid. Install oil pan and refill transmission fluid. Install solenoid wire coupler. Warm up transmission. Check for fluid level and leakage.
Removal & Installation
- Remove wiring harness clamp. Disconnect speed sensor coupler. see scheme 3 Remove speed sensor bolt.
- Pull out speed sensor by gripping sensor body. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten speed sensor bolt to 62-80 INCH lbs. (7-9 N.m).
