SYSTEM TESTS
| WARNING | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
Note. Perform all voltage and resistance tests using a Digital Volt-Ohm Meter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance, unless stated otherwise in test procedure. Use ohmmeter to isolate wiring harness shorts or opens.
| Symptom | Perform Test |

| One Or Both Heated Mirrors Inoperative | D |
SYMPTOM INDEX
POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH
Remove power mirror control switch. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. While operating switch in specified position, measure resistance between power mirror control switch connector C527 terminals. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH TEST table. (Scheme 5) Resistance in all tests should be less than 5 ohms. If switch fails any portion of test, replace switch.
