Principles of Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) is a combination of a multifunction control module and an interior power junction box. SJB functions control multiple systems which include
- warning chimes and warning lamps
- power windows global open/close
- power locks
- battery saver
- illuminated entry with remote keyless entry (RKE)
- interior lighting
- exterior lighting
- perimeter anti-theft

Normal Operation
The SJB is supplied voltage by the bussed electrical center (BEC) through circuits 294 (WH/LB), 905 (GY/LB), 1052 (TN/BK), 1523 (DG), and 1679 (WH/YE). Ground to the SJB is supplied through circuit 1205 (BK).
