DOOR WINDOW HEIGHT STOP

Close door. Loosen door window stop bracket screws, located near top of inside door frame. Raise door window glass to necessary height. Tighten door window stop bracket screws to 106 INCH lbs. (12 N.m).

REAR QUARTER GLASS (CONVERTIBLE)

Rear quarter glass has 6 adjustment points. Adjustments that can be made are: fore/aft (horizontal) adjustment, regulator plate tilt, glass-to-regulator tilt, front high/low up stop, rear high/low/tilt channel stop, and inboard/outboard tilt. Refer to illustration for proper adjustment points. (Scheme 9)

Scheme 9: REAR QUARTER GLASS (CONVERTIBLE)

STABILIZER

Raise door window glass to full up position. Loosen 2 door window glass inner stabilizer bolts at top of door frame. Push door window glass inner stabilizers firmly against door window glass and tighten bolts to 106 INCH lbs. (12 N.m).

MASTER WINDOW/DOOR LOCK SWITCH

Remove master window/door lock switch. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check continuity between appropriate switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See MASTER WINDOW/DOOR LOCK SWITCH TESTING (CONVERTIBLE) or MASTER WINDOW/DOOR LOCK SWITCH TESTING (COUPE) table. (Scheme 10)or (Scheme 11). If continuity does not exist between specified terminals, replace master window/door lock switch.

PASSENGER'S WINDOW/DOOR LOCK SWITCH

Remove passenger's window/door lock switch. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check continuity between appropriate switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See PASSENGER'S WINDOW/DOOR LOCK SWITCH TESTING table. (Scheme 12) If continuity is not as specified, replace passenger's window/door lock switch.

WINDOW MOTOR

Disconnect window motor harness connector for inoperative window. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to one terminal at window motor connector and momentarily ground other terminal (component side). To reverse motor direction, reverse polarity of jumper wires. Motor should operate rapidly and smoothly in both directions. Replace window motor as necessary. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
