Normal Operation
Under normal operation the exterior mirror control switch receives voltage through circuit 29-AD12 (OG/YE) and ground through circuit 31-AD12 (BK). The exterior mirror control switch uses circuit 32-AD1 (WH/RD) as the common circuit for both exterior mirror up/down and right/left movement and is a common switched ground/voltage circuit based upon the mirror control switch position.
Circuit 32-AD6 (WH) controls the LH exterior mirror up/down and right/left movement. Circuit 32-AD9 (WH/GN) controls the RH exterior mirror up/down and right/left movement. Circuits 32-AD6 (WH) and 32-AD9 (WH/GN) are common switched ground/voltage circuits based upon the mirror control switch position.
Under normal operation the exterior mirror control switch uses circuit 33-AD8 (YE/BU) to control the LH exterior mirror left/right movement, circuit 34-AD7 (BU/RD) to control the LH exterior mirror up/down movement, circuit 32-AD6 (WH) as a common circuit to control the LH exterior mirror up/down and left right movement, circuit 33-AD 11 (YE/VT) to control the RH exterior mirror left/right movement, circuit 34-AD 10 (BU/YE) to control the RH exterior mirror up/down movement, and circuit 32-AD9 (WH/GN) as a common circuit to control the RH exterior mirror up/down and left right movement. Each circuit is a switched voltage/ground circuit based upon the exterior mirror control switch position.
When the rear window defrost is ON the exterior mirrors receive voltage from the heated grid relay through circuits 15S-HB2 (GN/BU) and 15S-HB35 (GN/BK) on the LH mirror, and circuits 15S-HB2 (GN/BU) and 15S-HB36 (GN/OG) on the RH mirror. The LH mirror is grounded through circuit 31-HB35 (BK) and the RH mirror is grounded through circuit 31-HB36 (BK).
