Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal

1. Open and unhook the glove compartment.
2. Remove the air recirculation flap servo motor. Disconnect the plugs. Remove the three screws.

1. Refit the components in reverse order.
2. Check the operation of the air recirculation flap.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-207791) .
2. Remove the radio/cassette unit and the CD player (if equipped). For additional information, refer to «AUDIO UNIT»(ref-207793) .
3. Remove the bezel with heater/air conditioning controls.
4. Remove the bezel with heater/air conditioning controls (continued). Pull off seven electrical connectors (six shown).
5. Remove the bezel with heater/air conditioning controls (continued). Unclip the Bowden cables.
6. Remove the lower driver's side footwell trim.
7. Unclip and remove the air distribution Bowden cables.
8. Unclip and remove the temperature control Bowden cables. Unclip and remove the temperature control Bowden cables.

1. Install the components in reverse order.
2. Check operation of the Bowden cables.
