  1. Refer to: «JACKING AND LIFTING - OVERVIEW»(/ford/focus-st/iii-2012-2015/remont/hoistjack/#jacking-lifting-except-electric) .
  2. Support the engine using the oil pan. General Equipment : Trolley Jack General Equipment : Wooden Block
  1. Torque : Tighten the 2 nuts to 80 Nm Torque : Tighten the 2 bolts to 90 Nm
  2. Torque : 11 Nm

Note. During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material, including any material created while cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages or the oil pan can cause engine failure.

  2. Using the flats on the exhaust and intake camshaft to prevent camshaft rotation, loosen the exhaust and intake VCT unit bolts.
  1. Position the exhaust and intake VCT unit and install the bolts finger tight.
