The brake system has the following components
- A vacuum-assisted power braking system
- A front-to-rear split hydraulic system
- Front brake discs use a dual piston brake caliper and disc system
- Rear brake discs use a single piston brake caliper and disc system
- A mechanical parking brake system that activates a drum-in hat system within the rear brake disc
