Rotary Blower Switch
Rotary blower switch, located on the ICP, operates the blower motor in 4 speeds. (Scheme 4)
Function Selector
Function selector rotary switch, located on the ICP, controls air distribution. (Scheme 4) The function selector operates vacuum motors which position airflow control doors inside the heater assembly. The position of these doors determines to which outlets air will be delivered. Six positions are available: OFF, panel, panel/floor, floor, floor/defrost, and defrost.
Temperature Control Switch
Temperature control switch is connected by cable to temperature blend door. (Scheme 4) With knob in cool position, air by-passes heater core. With knob in warm position, air is directed through heater core. In intermediate positions, air is directed through and around heater core, and then blended to achieve desired temperature.

NO HEAT
Check coolant level. Check heater hoses for blockage and damage. Check engine thermostat. Check temperature control switch and cable operation. Check heater core for airflow blockage.
NO AIRFLOW
Check blower motor circuit breaker and main fuse. Check blower motor operation. Check function selector, vacuum motor and door operation. Check for blockage and foreign material in blower and ducts. Check recirculated/fresh air door vacuum motor and door operation.
BLOWER MOTOR
Unplug blower motor harness connector. Using a jumper wire, connect battery voltage to blower motor connector Blue/White wire terminal. Connect a second jumper wire from ground to blower motor connector Blue/Black wire terminal. Replace motor if it does not operate at high speed.
