REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery. |
- Remove door trim panel and trim shield. Remove side view mirror. Reinstall window control switch and lower window to align window regulator-to-window glass retaining bolts with access holes in door.
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug wire connector from window control switch. Remove 2 bolts retaining window regulator to window glass. While holding window glass, carefully pry regulator from glass. Pull belt line outside weatherstrip from door.
- Raise rear of window glass and carefully remove from door. Loosen 3 regulator-to-door retaining bolts. Remove 3 window motor bolts. Slide window regulator bolts from slots in door and disconnect wire harness from window motor. Remove window regulator.
- Remove screws retaining window motor to window regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten window regulator-to-window glass retaining bolts to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove inside door handle cup. Push window switch retaining tab and pull switch from door trim panel. Disconnect wiring harness and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove left-side door trim panel. Remove 2 screws retaining relay to door. Disconnect wiring harness and remove relay. To install, reverse removal procedure.
