TIRE ROTATION & WHEEL TORQUE INFORMATION

Wheel lug nuts must be retightened to proper torque specifications after 500 miles (800 KM) of new vehicle operation (100 miles (160 KM) for vehicles equipped for snowplowing), and 500 miles (800 KM) after any wheel change, or any other time lug nuts have been loosened.

Note. If wheels are equipped with locking type lug nuts, ALWAYS position the keyed nut opposite the valve stem.

CAUTIONDO NOT attempt to use wheels which have cone-shaped lug nut seats on this vehicle. Use of incorrect wheels can lead to damage to wheel mounting system, and could result in wheels coming loose.

BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS

CAUTIONWhen battery is disconnected, vehicles equipped with computers may lose memory data. When battery power is restored, driveability problems may exist on some vehicles. These vehicles may require a relearn procedure. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.
