Installation
- Inspect "O" ring seals on control valve to ensure they are not damaged. If damaged, replace with NEW "O" rings. Moisten "O" rings with clean power steering fluid. Install solenoid control valve into steering gear, by hand, until solenoid is fully seated. Using 1 5/16" crow foot wrench, tighten solenoid to 124 INCH lbs. (14 N.m).
- Route wiring harness from solenoid control valve under power steering lines and around front of steering gear. Connect wiring harness connector from solenoid control valve onto solenoid control module, ensuring connector seal is in good condition. Road test vehicle or test using scan tool scan tool.
