DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
To disable system, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable. To activate system, reconnect negative battery cable.
SOLENOID CONTROL VALVE
Note. If servicing a solenoid control valve on a vehicle with a 3.5L engine, removal of air intake plenum will allow improved access to control valve. When removing air intake plenum, disconnect plenum from air cleaner, throttle bodies, PCV air tube and idle air control motor. Remove air intake plenum from right side. (Scheme 18)
