Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures Dodge Shadow I

Dynasty, Imperial, New Yorker, Shadow & Sundance

Loosen lower strut attaching bolts enough to allow for adjustment. Pull out or push in top of tire until correct camber is obtained. Tighten attaching bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. (Scheme 1)

Laser, Monaco, Premier & Talon

Camber is factory pre-set and cannot be adjusted. If camber within specification, replace or repair bent or broken parts as necessary.

All Others

Loosen lower strut attaching/adjusting cam bolts. Turn cam bolts to obtain correct camber. Tighten attaching bolts to specification. (Scheme 1)

CASTER ADJUSTMENT

Caster is factory set and cannot be adjusted. If caster is not to specification, replace or repair damaged, bent or broken parts as necessary.

TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT

With steering wheel centered, loosen tie rod end lock nuts. While holding steering rod dust boots stationary, rotate tie rods to obtain specified toe-in. (Scheme 2) Tighten Lock nuts to specification.
