ADJUSTMENTS
Note. Before performing wheel alignment, perform preliminary visual and mechanical inspection of wheels, tires and suspension components. See PRE-ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT THEORY/OPERATION article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.
CAMBER ADJUSTMENT
- Camber is factory preset, but can be adjusted with a camber service kit. Raise and support vehicle. While holding lower strut attaching bolts stationary, loosen attaching nuts. (Scheme 1) Remove upper attaching nut and bolt. Install camber service kit attaching/adjusting bolt and nut. While holding bolt stationary, lightly tighten nut. Repeat procedure for lower attaching nut and bolt.
- Lower vehicle until vehicle weight is supported by suspension. Bounce vehicle several times and allow suspension to settle. Pull out or push in top of tire until correct camber is obtained. See «ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-52734-S24859907552001011800000). While holding bolts stationary, tighten nuts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-52734-S11376858192001011800000).

CASTER ADJUSTMENT
Caster is factory set and cannot be adjusted. If caster is not to specification, replace or repair damaged, bent or broken parts as necessary. See ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS .
TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT
With steering wheel centered, loosen tie rod end lock nuts. While holding steering rod dust boots stationary, rotate tie rods to obtain specified toe-in. (Scheme 2) See ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS. Tighten lock nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
