DESCRIPTION & OPERATION

The tilt and standard column unit has been designed to be serviced as an assembly. (Scheme 1) Most components of steering column can be serviced without removing column from vehicle.

WARNING

On models with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), disconnect and isolate battery ground cable. Failure to do so could result in accidental deployment of the air bag and possible personal injury.
