REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
- Remove speaker flag (trim). Using a trim tool, disengage clips holding rear of speaker grille to door trim panel. Remove grille. Remove 3 screws from bottom of door trim panel. Remove screw in pull cup. Remove screw behind plug in door handle bezel. Remove 2 screws in instrument panel interface area.
- Remove 3 screws in speaker area. Using a trim tool, disengage clips holding door trim panel to door. Lift door trim panel upward and disconnect linkage from door handle. Disconnect wiring from door trim panel. Remove door trim panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
- Remove front door trim panel. See «DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-3620-S21875762352000051100000) . Remove window frame trim. Disconnect power mirror motor wire connector. Remove nuts holding mirror to door.
- Separate mirror from door. Disengage wire harness plug from door. Feed wire harness through door to outside of vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. Verify mirror operation before installing trim panel.
Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL . Using a trim tool, remove power mirror switch. Disconnect wiring from switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
