  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  3. Remove the disc brake caliper assembly. Refer to «Brakes/Hydraulic/Mechanical/CALIPER, Disc Brake - Removal»(ref-352626-S27848961612010010600000) .
  4. Remove the disc brake rotor. Refer to «Brakes/Hydraulic/Mechanical/ROTOR, Brake - Removal»(ref-352626-S16824195272010010600000) .
  5. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor at the wheel well.
  6. Remove tie rod end jam nut (1).
  7. Disconnect the tie rod (2) from the knuckle using remover C-3894-A (1). Refer to «Steering/Linkage/END, Tie Rod - Removal»(ref-352627-S31819065002010010600000) . 1 - UPPER BALL JOINT NUT 2 - UPPER BALL JOINT 3 - UPPER CONTROL ARM 4 - LOWER CONTROL ARM 5 - LOWER BALL JOINT 6 - LOWER BALL JOINT NUT 7 - KNUCKLE
  8. Remove the front halfshaft nut 4X4 .
  9. Remove the upper ball joint nut (1).
  10. Separate the upper ball joint (1) from the steering knuckle (3) with Remover 8677 (2).
  11. Remove the lower ball joint nut (3). Separate the lower ball joint (3) from the steering knuckle (1) with puller 8677 (2).
  12. Remove the steering knuckle. See «Front Suspension/Front/KNUCKLE, Steering - Removal»(ref-352625-S34563634242010010600000) . 1 - SHOCK ASSEMBLY 2 - UPPER SHOCK NUTS 3 - LOWER CONTROL ARM 4 - LOWER SHOCK BOLT 5 - LOWER SHOCK BOLT NUT
  13. Remove the stabilizer bar link. See «Front Suspension/Front/LINK, Stabilizer Bar - Removal»(ref-352625-S32515934402010010600000) .
  14. Remove the shock absorber lower bolt (5) and nut (4). 1 - UPPER CONTROL ARM 2 - UPPER BOLT 3 - LOWER BOLT 4 - WASHER 5 - NUT 6 - LOWER CONTROL ARM
  15. Remove the lower control arm bolts (5) , nuts (3) and washers (4).
  16. Remove the lower control arm (6) from the vehicle.
