COMPLETE SYSTEM DEACTIVATION
- Disconnect negative battery cable, and tape cable end. Disconnect Yellow 2-way clockspring (also known as squib or initiator) harness connector, located between clockspring and instrument panel wiring harness, at base of steering column. (Scheme 16)
- Clockspring connector may also be disconnected at ASDM. Reconnect battery, and drive vehicle to repair area. Disconnect negative battery cable, and tape cable end.
