1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Pull parking brake lever (5) to the upright position.
3. Open console door and remove the rear two retainers (1) that secure the console to the rear floor bracket (3).
4. Carefully pry up on the console to disengage the two front retainers (1) that secure the console to the front floor bracket (6).
5. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (2 and 4) and remove the console.
6. On automatic transaxle equipped models, pull up and remove the shifter knob (1) from the gear shift lever.
7. Using a fiber trim stick, carefully pry up on the bezel (2) and remove the bezel from the shifter housing (3).
8. On manual transaxle equipped models, pull up and remove the shifter knob (3) from the gear shift lever (5).
9. Using a fiber trim stick, carefully pry up on the bezel (1) and remove the bezel and boot (2) from the shifter housing (4).
10. Using a fiber trim, carefully disengage the retaining clips that secure the accessory switch bank (1) to the instrument panel.
11. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (2) and remove the accessory switch bank.
12. Remove the two screws (1) that secure the shifter housing to the instrument panel (2) and remove the shifter housing.
13. Remove the screw (2) that secures the storage bin (1) to the top of the instrument panel and remove the bin.
14. Remove the two screws (2) that secure the bottom of the center bezel to the instrument panel.
15. Using a fiber trim stick, carefully disengage the four retaining clips (1) that secure the center bezel to the instrument panel.
16. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) from the A/C heater control and remove the center bezel. CAUTION: Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.
17. Remove the radio mounting screws.
18. Pull the radio out far enough to access the back of the radio.
19. Disconnect the AM/FM antenna (2) and electrical connectors (1).
20. If equipped, disconnect the navigation antenna (3).
21. If equipped, disconnect the USB connectors (4).
22. Remove the radio from the instrument panel. NOTE: Vehicle being upgraded from (AM/FM only), continue on to "SDARS/NAVIGATION ANTENNA CABLE AND ANTENNA INSTALLATION" NOTE: Vehicle being upgraded from (AM/FM and SATELLITE Audio (SDARS)), continue to the next step.
23. Position the new radio to the instrument panel.
24. Connect the AM/FM antenna (2) and electrical connectors (1).
25. Connect the satellite/navigation antenna (3).
26. If equipped, connect the USB connectors (4).
27. Install the radio mounting screws.
28. Position the center bezel to the instrument panel and connect the wire harness connectors (1) to the A/C heater control.
29. Carefully engage the four retaining clips (1) that secure the center bezel to the instrument panel. Press firmly and evenly on both sides of the bezel.
30. Install the two screws (2) that secure the bottom of the center bezel to the instrument panel.
31. Position the storage bin (1) to the top of the instrument panel.
32. Install the screw (2) that secures the storage bin (1) to the instrument panel.
33. Install the two screws (1) that secure the shifter housing to the instrument panel (2).
34. Position the accessory switch bank (1) to the instrument panel.
35. Connect the wire harness connectors to the accessory switch bank.
36. Carefully engage the retaining clips that secure the accessory switch bank to the instrument panel. Press firmly and evenly on both sides of the switch bank.
37. On automatic transaxle equipped models, carefully engage the retaining tabs that secure the shifter bezel (2) to the shifter housing (3). Press firmly and evenly on both sides of the bezel.
38. Install the shifter knob (1) onto the gear shift lever.
39. On manual transaxle equipped models, carefully engage the retaining tabs that secure the shifter bezel (1) and boot (2) to the shifter housing (4). Press firmly and evenly on both sides of the bezel.
40. Install the shifter knob (3) onto the gear shift lever (5).
41. Position the center console into the vehicle and connect the wire harness connectors (2 and 4).
42. Carefully engage the two front retainers (1) that secure the console to the front floor bracket (6).
43. Open console door and install the rear two retainers (1) that secure the console to the rear floor bracket (3).
44. Disengage the parking brake lever (5).
45. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

SDARS/NAVIGATION ANTENNA CABLE AND ANTENNA INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Place the rear seat back in the down position.
3. Using a T30 Torx® bit, remove the screw (3) that secures the cargo loop (2) to the rear of each quarter trim panel (1) and remove the loops.
4. Pull upward on the cargo load floor (1) to disengage the rear retaining tabs.
5. Lift the right front of the cargo load floor upward to disengage the load floor from the quarter trim panels and remove the load floor.
6. Lift upward to disengage the retaining tabs that secure the scuff plate (1) to the holes (2) in the liftgate opening and remove the scuff plate.
7. Using a small flat bladed screw driver, disengage the grab handle retainer covers (3) from each second row grab handle (2).
8. Remove the two screws that secure each second row grab handle to the roof panel (1) and remove both grab handles.
9. Using a fiber trim stick, carefully remove both lower B-pillar trim panels (1).
10. Carefully disengage the front seat belt turning loop cover (2) from each front seat belt turning loop (4).
11. Disengage the top of each turning loop cover from the upper B-pillar trim panel (1) and remove both covers.
12. Using a T45 Torx® bit, remove the bolt (3) that secures each front seat belt turning loop and position both turning loops and seat belts out of the way.
13. Remove the plug from the top of each upper B-pillar trim panel (1).
14. Remove the screw (2) that secures the upper B-pillar trim panel to each B-pillar (4).
15. Disengage the retaining tab (3) and remove both upper B-pillar trim panels.
16. Lift upward to disengage the scuff plate (1) from each door opening (2) and remove both scuff plates.
17. Using a fiber trim stick, disengage the tabs (3) from the retaining clips (1 and 2) that secure the lower quarter trim panel (4) to each quarter panel and remove both trim panels.
18. Pull on the rear portion of the quarter trim panel (1) to disengage the retaining clips and alignment pin (3) from the holes in body (4).
19. Disengage the front retaining tab (2) from the C-pillar. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the seat belts from the upper quarter trim panels.
20. Slide each upper quarter trim panel downward, pull the seat belt outward and position both upper trim panels out of the way.
21. Remove the rear headliner push pins (3) from the upper D-pillar reinforcement (2).
22. If equipped, remove the flashlight from the cargo lamp housing (1).
23. Gently pry the cargo lamp housing downward to disengage the center retainer clip from the upper D-pillar reinforcement.
24. Lower the rear of the headliner (4) as needed for access.
25. Cut out the supplied antenna location template (1).
26. Locate the center line of the roof and position and tape the template in place.
27. Carefully center punch the roof panel at the two locations shown in illustration for the antenna mounting holes.
28. Remove and discard template. CAUTION: Do not drill down through the roof panel more than 6 mm (1/4 in.). Failure to follow these instructions can result in damage to the headliner.
29. Drill a 3 mm (1/8 inch) pilot hole in the roof panel (2) at the two marked locations.
30. Drill a 5 mm (13/64 inch) diameter hole at the marked location closest to the liftgate opening.
31. Using a hole saw, cut a 19 mm (3/4 inch) hole at the marked location furthest away from the liftgate opening.
32. Debur both of the drilled holes.
33. Clean and prep the roof panel surface.
34. Apply Mopar® Corrosion Inhibitor, p/n 82300508 to the bare metal surface of the drilled holes.
35. Route the connector through hole and set the antenna (1) into place.
36. Install the fasteners and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
37. Connect the antenna cable (1) to the antenna.
38. Route the antenna cable down the right D-pillar and forward to the instrument panel. Tie strap or tape the cable into place as necessary.
39. Remove the nut (1) that secures the cowl side trim panel (3) to the right front door opening.
40. Disengage the retaining clip (2) and remove the right cowl side trim panel.
41. Open the glove box bin and disconnect the glove box damper from the bin.
42. Push the glove box stops (1) inward and rotate the glove box bin past the stops.
43. Disengage the glove box bin hinge pins (2) from the instrument panel and remove the glove box bin.
44. Route the antenna cable up into the instrument panel. Tie strap or tape the cable into place as necessary.
45. Attach the antenna cable to the radio. Refer to «RADIO REPLACEMENT»(ref-484030-S08182923332012070400000) . Then proceed to Step 46 .
46. Align glove box bin with glove box opening and engage the hinge pins (2) to the instrument panel.
47. Push the glove box stops (1) inward and rotate the glove box bin into the instrument panel.
48. Connect the glove box damper and close the glove box bin.
49. Position the right cowl side trim panel (3) and engage the retaining clip (2). Make sure the retaining clip is fully engaged.
50. Install the nut (1) that secures the cowl side trim panel to the right front door opening.
51. Reposition the headliner (4) and engage the retaining clip for the cargo lamp (1) to the D-pillar reinforcement (2). Make sure the retaining clip is fully engaged.
52. Install the two rear headliner push pins (3). Make sure the push pins are fully engaged.
53. If equipped, install the flashlight into the cargo lamp housing.
54. Reposition both upper quarter trim panels (1) and the rear seat belts.
55. Engage the front retaining tab (2) to the C-pillar. Make sure the retaining tab is fully engaged.
56. Align the alignment pin (3) and engage the rear retaining clips to the holes in body (4). Make sure the retaining clips are fully engaged.
57. Position the lower quarter panel trim (4) to both quarter panels and engage the tabs (3) to the retaining clips (1 and 2). Make sure the retaining clips are fully engaged.
58. Position the scuff plates (1) to the door openings (2) and engage the retaining tabs. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
59. Position both upper B-pillar trim panels (1) and engage the retaining tab (3) to the B-pillar (4).
60. Install the screw (2) that secures each B-pillar trim panel to the B-pillar.
61. Install the plug onto the top of each B-pillar trim panel.
62. Reposition both front seat belt turning loops (4) and install the bolts (3), using a T45 Torx® bit. Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
63. Engage the top of each front seat belt turning loop cover (2) to each upper B-pillar trim panel (1).
64. Engage the bottom of each seat belt turning loop cover to each front seat belt turning loop.
65. Position both lower B-pillar trim panels (1) and engage the retaining tabs. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
66. Position the grab handles (2) to the roof panel (1) and install the retaining screws. Tighten the screws securely.
67. Position the scuff plate (1) and engage the retaining tabs to the holes (2) in the liftgate opening. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
68. Position the cargo load floor (1) and engage the front retaining tabs to the quarter trim panels.
69. Push downward on the cargo load floor and engage the rear retaining tabs.
70. Position both cargo loops (2) to the rear of the quarter trim panel (1) and install the retaining screws (3), using a T30 Torx® bit. Tighten the screws securely.
71. Place the rear seat back in the up position.
72. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

ANTENNA REPLACEMENT ONLY

Note. Right side shown in illustration. Left side similar.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Place the rear seat back in the down position.
3. Using a T30 Torx® bit, remove the screw (3) that secures the cargo loop (2) to the rear of each quarter trim panel (1) and remove the loops.
4. Pull upward on the cargo load floor (1) to disengage the rear retaining tabs.
5. Lift the right front of the cargo load floor upward to disengage the load floor from the quarter trim panels and remove the load floor.
6. Lift upward to disengage the retaining tabs that secure the scuff plate (1) to the holes (2) in liftgate opening and remove the scuff plate.
7. Using a small flat bladed screw driver, disengage the grab handle retainer covers (3) from each second row grab handle (2).
8. Remove the two screws that secure each second row grab handle to the roof panel (1) and remove both grab handles.
9. Using a fiber trim stick, carefully remove both lower B-pillar trim panels (1).
10. Carefully disengage the front seat belt turning loop cover (2) from each front seat belt turning loop (4).
11. Disengage the top of each turning loop cover from the upper B-pillar trim panel (1) and remove both covers.
12. Using a T45 Torx® bit, remove the bolt (3) that secures each front seat belt turning loop and position both turning loops and seat belts out of the way.
13. Remove the plug from the top of each upper B-pillar trim panel (1).
14. Remove the screw (2) that secures the upper B-pillar trim panel to each B-pillar (4).
15. Disengage the retaining tab (3) and remove both upper B-pillar trim panels.
16. Lift upward to disengage the scuff plate (1) from each door opening (2) and remove both scuff plates.
17. Using a fiber trim stick, disengage the tabs (3) from the retaining clips (1 and 2) that secure the lower quarter trim panel (4) to each quarter panel and remove both trim panels.
18. Pull on the rear portion of the quarter trim panel (1) to disengage the retaining clips and alignment pin (3) from the holes in body (4).
19. Disengage the front retaining tab (2) from the C-pillar. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the seat belts from the upper quarter trim panels.
20. Slide each upper quarter trim panel downward, pull the seat belt outward and position both upper trim panels out of the way.
21. Remove the rear headliner push pins (3) from the upper D-pillar reinforcement (2).
22. If equipped, remove the flashlight from the cargo lamp housing (1).
23. Gently pry the cargo lamp housing downward to disengage the center retainer clip from the upper D-pillar reinforcement.
24. Lower the rear of the headliner (4) as needed for access.
25. Disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna.
26. Remove the fasteners that secure the antenna to the roof panel and remove the antenna.
27. Clean and prep the roof panel surface.
28. Apply Mopar® Corrosion Inhibitor, p/n 82300508 to the bare metal surface of the drilled holes.
29. Set the new antenna (1) into place.
30. Install the fasteners and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
31. Connect the antenna cable to the antenna.
32. Reposition the headliner (4) and engage the retaining clip for the cargo lamp (1) to the D-pillar reinforcement (2). Make sure the retaining clip is fully engaged.
33. Install the two rear headliner push pins (3). Make sure the push pins are fully engaged.
34. If equipped, install the flashlight into the cargo lamp housing.
35. Reposition both upper quarter trim panels (1) and rear seat belts.
36. Engage the front retaining tab (2) to the C-pillar. Make sure the retaining tab is fully engaged.
37. Align the pin (3) and engage the retaining clips to the holes in body (4). Make sure the retaining clips are fully engaged.
38. Position the lower quarter panel trim (4) to both quarter panels and engage the tabs (3) to the retaining clips (1 and 2). Make sure the retaining clips are fully engaged.
39. Position the scuff plates (1) to the door openings (2) and engage the retaining tabs. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
40. Position both upper B-pillar trim panels (1) and engage the tab (3) to the B-pillar (4).
41. Install the screw (2) that secures each B-pillar trim panel to the B-pillar.
42. Install the plug onto the top of each B-pillar trim panel.
43. Reposition both front seat belt turning loops (4) and install the bolt (3) that secures each turning loop, using a T45 Torx® bit. Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
44. Engage the top of each front seat belt turning loop cover (2) to each upper B-pillar trim panel (1).
45. Engage the bottom of each seat belt turning loop cover to each front seat belt turning loop.
46. Position both lower B-pillar trim panels (1) and engage the retaining tabs. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
47. Position both second row grab handles (2) and install the two screws that secure grab handles to the roof panel (1). Tighten the screws securely.
48. Install the grab handle retainer covers (3).
49. Position the scuff plate (1) and engage the retaining tabs to the holes (2) in the liftgate opening. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
50. Position the cargo load floor (1) and engage the front retaining tabs to the quarter trim panels.
51. Push downward on the cargo load floor and engage the rear retaining tabs.
52. Position both cargo loops (2) to the rear of the quarter trim panel (1) and install the retaining screws (3), using a T30 Torx® bit. Tighten the screws securely.
53. Place the rear seat back in the up position.
54. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

WIRELESS CONTROL MODULE (WCM) AND REMOTE START ANTENNA INSTALLATION

1. Caliber vehicles, remove the two screws (4) that secure the Inflatable Knee Blocker (IKB) airbag trim cover (5) to the instrument panel support structure.
2. Caliber vehicles, reach up under and behind the IKB airbag housing (1) and instrument panel support structure (2) to access and remove the two nuts (3) that secure the outer studs of the airbag housing to the instrument panel. It is not necessary to remove the smaller nut from the center stud. This nut secures the airbag cushion retainer and inflator within the airbag housing. If it is removed inadvertently, it is a smaller flanged nut than those on the outer studs allowing it to pass through the center hole of the instrument panel support structure without interference.
3. Caliber vehicles, using a C-4755 trim stick or another equivalent, gently pry the upper and lower edges of the IKB airbag trim cover away from the instrument panel steering column opening cover far enough to disengage the integral latch features on the back of the trim cover from the opening.
4. Caliber vehicles, pull the IKB airbag rearward far enough to access and disconnect the electrical connection that is secured by integral latches to the airbag inflator initiator connector receptacle on the right end of the airbag housing. Depress the latches on each side of the connector insulator and pull the insulator straight out from the airbag inflator to disconnect it from the connector receptacle.
5. Caliber vehicles, remove the IKB airbag from vehicle.
6. Caliber vehicles, remove the lower portion of the driver side door weatherstrip.
7. Caliber vehicles, using a C-4755 trim stick or another equivalent, remove the instrument panel end cap (1).
8. Caliber vehicles, remove the side screws (1).
9. Caliber vehicles, remove the lower screws (1).
10. Caliber vehicles, using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, release the three retaining clips (1) and remove the cover.
11. Patriot vehicles, remove the screws (2) from the bottom of the steering column opening cover (1).
12. Patriot vehicles, using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the steering column opening cover (1) and remove. NOTE: Steering wheel removed for clarity.
13. Position the column tilt at the full-downward position.
14. Remove the two screws (4) attaching the upper shroud (1) to the lower shroud (2). After removing the screws, unclip the shrouds from each other by applying hand pressure along the seams where the shrouds connect on the sides, then remove the upper shroud.
15. Remove the screw (3) attaching the lower shroud (2) to the steering column (6). Remove the lower shroud.
16. Carefully remove the U-clip (1) from the remote start antenna harness.
17. Caliber vehicles, open the storage bin cover (1) located on the top of the I/P and remove the screw (2).
18. Caliber vehicles, pull up on the front of the bin and remove the bin from the instrument panel.
19. Caliber vehicles, pull back on parking brake (5) to the upright position.
20. Caliber vehicles, open console door and remove two screws (1) fastening console to rear floor bracket (3).
21. Caliber vehicles, carefully pry up until the retainers (1) disengage from the center console to front floor bracket (6).
22. Caliber vehicles, disconnect center console wire connector (2) to instrument panel connector.
23. Caliber vehicles, remove from vehicle.
24. Caliber vehicles, remove the shifter bezel (1) from the console (2).
25. Caliber vehicles, using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, release the retaining clips and separate the accessory switch bank assembly (1) from the console.
26. Caliber vehicles, disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
27. Caliber vehicles, remove the two rear screws and remove the front console shifter housing and remove the housing (2).
28. Caliber vehicles, remove the lower screws (2).
29. Caliber vehicles, using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, release the four retaining clips (1) and separate the center bezel. CAUTION: Use caution when pulling out the center bezel, damage may occur to the plastic clips or gear posts.
30. Patriot vehicles, using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, carefully pry the center bezel (2) away from the instrument panel.
31. Patriot vehicles, disconnect the electrical and mechanical connections from the HVAC controls.
32. Patriot vehicles, remove the center bezel from the vehicle.
33. Remove and disconnect the radio.
34. Remove the adhesive backing on one side of the two sided tape (1) supplied in the kit and apply to the bottom side of the remote start antenna module (1).
35. Press the tape (2) firmly for 30 seconds to insure proper adhesion.
36. Caliber vehicles, using a fish tape or equivalent, route the antenna harness from the storage bin towards the steering wheel/lower knee bolster cover area. NOTE: Make sure that the antenna and harness are positioned forward enough to allow the storage bin to be installed and to function without any restrictions.
37. Caliber vehicles, remove the remaining adhesive backing from the two sided tape and place the remote start antenna on the flat surface under the I/P.
38. Caliber vehicles, press down firmly on the top of the antenna module for 30 seconds to insure proper adhesion.
39. Patriot vehicles, using a fish tape or equivalent, route the antenna harness from inside the center stack area, to the opening (1) near the left side of the radio bracket, just behind the I/P support bracket. Route the harness towards the steering wheel/lower knee bolster cover area.
40. Patriot vehicles, clean and prep the flat surface of the I/P support bracket (1) with isopropyl alcohol.
41. Patriot vehicles, remove the remaining adhesive backing from the two sided tape and place the remote start antenna (2) on the flat surface of the I/P support bracket (1). The remote start antenna module must be place on the flat surface only, make sure that the module is clear of any metal parts.
42. Patriot vehicles, press down firmly on the top of the antenna module (2) for 30 seconds to insure proper adhesion.
43. Finish routing the remote start antenna harness (2) through to the steering column area near the wireless control module (WCM) (1).
44. Remove the one right multi-function switch retaining screw (3) from the steering column control module (SCCM) (1).
45. Pull right switch (2) out of SCCM.
46. Disconnect the right switch electrical connector (1) from the SCCM (2).
47. Remove the WCM mounting screw on the ignition lock assembly and separate the WCM (1 and 3) from the ignition lock assembly (5).
48. Disconnect the WCM electrical connector (4).
49. Remove the WCM (1 and 3) from the column (2) and discard.
50. Obtain the supplied WCM (1 and 3) from the kit and connect the remote start antenna to the WCM (1 and 3).
51. Position the WCM (1 and 3) on the ignition lock housing (5) and install the retaining screw on the top of the ignition lock housing (5).
52. Connect the WCM electrical connector (4).
53. Connect the right stalk electrical connector (1) to the SCCM (2).
54. Slide the right stalk (2) into the groove of the SCCM (1) and install the one retaining screw (3). NOTE: Steering wheel removed for clarity.
55. Push the tilt lever (5) downward.
56. Install the lower shroud (2) over the tilt lever and onto the column.
57. Position the column tilt (5) at the full-upward position.
58. Push the tilt lever (5) upward, locking it in place.
59. Install the screw (3) attaching the lower shroud (2) to the steering column (6).
60. Position the column tilt at the full-downward position and lock it in place.
61. Install the upper shroud over the lower shroud, clipping the shrouds to one another.
62. Install the two screws (4) attaching the upper shroud (1) to the lower shroud (2).
63. Secure the remote start harness to the I/P using the tie wraps supplied in the kit.
64. Compass/Patriot vehicles, position the steering column opening cover (1) in place and seat the clips fully.
65. Compass/Patriot vehicles, install the two screws (2) and tighten until secure.
66. Caliber vehicles, position the steering column opening cover in place and seat the three clips (1) fully.
67. Caliber vehicles, install the side screws (1).
68. Caliber vehicles, install the instrument panel end cap (1).
69. Caliber vehicles, install the lower portion of the driver side door weatherstrip.
70. Caliber vehicles, install the lower screws (1).
71. Caliber vehicles, position the Inflatable Knee Blocker (IKB) airbag and trim cover unit to the opening in the instrument panel steering column opening cover.
72. Caliber vehicles, reconnect the connector insulator of the instrument panel wire harness IKB airbag take out to the airbag inflator initiator connector receptacle on the right end of the airbag housing by pressing straight in on the connector. You can be certain that the connector is fully engaged in its receptacle by listening carefully for a distinct, audible click as the connector latches snap into place.
73. Caliber vehicles, carefully position the IKB airbag housing (1) through the opening in the steering column opening cover far enough to engage the two outboard studs (3) on the airbag housing through the holes in the instrument panel support structure (2).
74. Caliber vehicles, reach up under and behind the IKB airbag housing and instrument panel support structure to install and tighten the two nuts that secure the outer studs of the airbag housing to the instrument panel. Tighten the nuts to 10.5 N.m (93 in. lbs.). It was not necessary to remove the smaller nut from the center stud. This nut secures the airbag cushion retainer and inflator within the airbag housing. If it was removed inadvertently, it is a smaller flanged nut than those on the outer studs allowing it to pass through the center hole of the instrument panel support structure without interference.
75. Caliber vehicles, using hand pressure, press on the IKB airbag trim cover over each of the integral latch features on the back of the upper and lower edges of the cover until it engages behind the steering column opening cover.
76. Caliber vehicles, install and tighten the two screws (4) that secure the IKB airbag trim cover to the instrument panel support structure. Tighten the screws securely.
77. Connect and install the radio (1).
78. Caliber vehicles, install the HVAC control head onto the bezel and install the screws.
79. Caliber vehicles, connect the electrical connectors (1).
80. Caliber vehicles, position the center bezel back and seat the retaining clips (1) fully.
81. Caliber vehicles, install the screws (2).
82. Caliber vehicles, install the rear of the bin down into the instrument panel and seat the bin fully.
83. Caliber vehicles, install the screw (2) and close the lid (1).
84. Caliber vehicles, install the front console shifter housing (2) and install the two rear screws (1).
85. Caliber vehicles, connect the electrical connectors (2).
86. Caliber vehicles, position the accessory switch bank assembly (1) back and seat the retaining clips fully.
87. Caliber vehicles, install the shift bezel (1) onto the console (2).
88. Compass/Patriot vehicles, connect the electrical and mechanical connections from the HVAC controls.
89. Compass/Patriot vehicles, firmly seat the center bezel (2) to the instrument panel (1), engaging the spring clip retainers.
90. Connect the negative battery cable.
