Calibration
Perform calibration in a location that is level and at least 50 feet from metal objects, power lines, buildings and large steel structures. Ensure compass/temperature is displayed. To calibrate the compass, press US/M and STEP buttons for more than 6 seconds. Compass will display CAL. Drive vehicle 2-3 times in a circle at slow to medium speed. When calibration is complete, compass display will change from CAL to normal function. If compass display does not change from CAL, location has too much magnetism or unit is faulty. Repeat calibration in another location.
