CASTER ADJUSTMENT
Note. Caster on front wheel drive models is not adjustable. Check front suspension ride height with proper tire pressure, full fuel tank and no luggage or passenger load. Jounce vehicle to settle suspension. Release on down stroke. DO NOT modify components by heating or bending.
Front Wheels
To adjust camber, loosen cam and through bolts on each side. (Scheme 2) Rotate upper cam and bolt to move top of wheel in or out to specified camber. Tighten to specifications.
Rear Wheels
- Raise vehicle. Remove rear wheels and brake drums. Loosen 4 brake assembly/spindle mount bolts enough to install shims.
- To adjust camber, add.010" (.25 mm) shims between spindle mounting surface and spindle mounting plate. (Scheme 2) Each shim is equal to 3° of wheel movement. Tighten mount bolts.

Center steering wheel and hold with steering wheel clamp. Loosen tie rod lock nuts. Loosen tie rod lock nuts. Rotate rods to align toe. Tighten lock nuts. Be sure rubber boot on tie rod-to-steering gear is not twisted. (Scheme 3)
To adjust toe-in, adjust shims between spindle mounting surface and spindle mounting plate. (Scheme 2)
