DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
| CAUTION | Disconnect negative battery cable before removing or installing any electrical unit or when a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with exposed electrical terminals. Disconnecting this cable will help prevent personal injury and damage to vehicle. The ignition must also be in LOCK position unless otherwise noted. |
Power windows are controlled by electrical switches on door panels and are operated by a motor at each window regulator. Each door has a switch to control its window. Driver's door has 4 switches to control all door windows on vehicle. Windows are lowered by pressing down on switch and are raised by pulling up on switch. Window will stop movement when switch is released or when window is completely open or closed.
Driver's window operates automatically. By pressing and releasing switch, driver's window will lower. It will stop only when switch is activated again or when window is completely open. By pulling and releasing switch, window will rise and will stop only when switch is activated again or when window is completely closed.
Driver's door control also contains a button that, when pressed, will prevent operation of windows in front passenger door or rear doors.
