Servicing - A/t: Other Daewoo Nubira II

ON-VEHICLE REPAIRS

Note. Various components may be serviced without transaxle removal. For servicing of these components, see appropriate component under ADJUSTMENTS and/or REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . For additional information on testing electrical components, see appropriate DIAGNOSIS article.

CONTROL CABLE

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Move the shift lever to Park.
  2. Make sure the transaxle range switch on the transaxle is in Park. (Scheme 81)
  3. Remove right/left front lower trim panels, shift control panel and floor console.
  4. Loosen shift control cable adjustment pinch bolt. Pull the shifter control cable until it is tight.
  5. Tighten the shifter control cable adjustment pinch bolt until it is tight. (Scheme 82) See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-151661-S27468387212003010600000).
  6. Install floor console, shift control panel and right/left front lower trim panels. Connect the negative battery cable.
