WarningExcessive greasing of the primary shaft may damage the clutch system as a result of splashes of grease
Procedure to be followed: greasing method
WarningClean and remove all traces of corrosion of the primary shaft along its entire length, over its entire periphery and in the splines using a metal hand brush
NoteProtect the interior of the clutch housing from splashes of grease
WarningAn excess of grease will contaminate the clutch friction plate and cause noise in neutral, slipping or juddering of the clutch. remove the excess grease from the splines of the primary shaft using a clean cloth
Vehicles equipped with a gearbox that has a mechanical clutch bearing
Spray a little grease MOLYCOTE G-RAPID PLUS (aerosol) on the splines of the primary shaft and on the clutch bearing guide tube
Vehicles equipped with a gearbox that has a hydraulic clutch bearing
Grease the splines of the primary shaft with Kluberpaste 46 MR 401
