Emissions Control System: Removal & Installation Chrysler Pacifica CS

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the vacuum lines to solenoid. see scheme 5
2. Install solenoid to bracket.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid and lock. see scheme 6
4. Connect the negative battery cable.

1. Install PCV valve and tighten. see scheme 15
2. Install PCV hose.

1. Install canister into bracket. see scheme 17
2. Tighten 2 mounting nuts.
3. Install inboard screw and tighten all 3 bracket mounting screws.
4. Connect the EVAP canister hoses.
5. Lower vehicle.

1. Remove the 2 bolts from tube flange at rear of intake manifold. (Scheme 5)
2. Remove the tube bracket bolt. (Scheme 6)
3. Remove the 2 flange bolts at EGR valve. (Scheme 7)

1. Remove the 2 flange bolts at EGR valve. (Scheme 8)
2. Remove the tube bracket bolt. (Scheme 9)
3. Remove the 2 bolts from tube flange at intake manifold. (Scheme 10)
4. Remove EGR tube from gasket. (Scheme 11)
5. Remove gasket. (Scheme 12)

Scheme 13

1. Inspect rubber silicone seals on intake manifold end of EGR tube.
2. Install upper tube into the intake manifold. see scheme 27, being careful that the silicone rubber seals are correctly installed and undamaged. (Scheme 13)
3. Tighten the EGR upper tube to EGR valve bolts to 11.3 N.m (100 in. lbs.) torque. (Scheme 7)
4. Install the EGR tube bracket bolt and tighten. see scheme 28
