  2. Inspect the hydraulic brake system for proper operation. See «HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS»(/chevrolet/avalanche/i-2001-2006/remont/mechanical-hydraulic/#disc-brakes__hydraulic-brake-system-diagnosis) under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 4 . If not, go to next step.
  3. Inspect the disc brake system for proper operation. See «DISC BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS»(/chevrolet/avalanche/i-2001-2006/remont/mechanical-hydraulic/#disc-brakes) under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 4 . If not, go to next step.
  4. Road test the vehicle to confirm proper operation. See «BRAKE SYSTEM VEHICLE ROAD TEST»(/chevrolet/avalanche/i-2001-2006/remont/mechanical-hydraulic/#disc-brakes) under SYSTEM TESTS. Is the condition still present? If so, go to step 2 . If not, system is okay.
