Removal
- BPM is located in the left front of engine compartment. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner and radiator cover. Remove EBTCM/BPM assembly-to-bracket nuts.
- Disconnect Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module EBTCM electrical connector, ensure connector tab is released. Remove BPM motor ground cable. Label brakelines for installation reference, and then remove brakelines from BPM valve. (Scheme 63)
- Remove BPM valve from vehicle. Remove front insulator and insulator mounting bolt. Remove EBTCM-to-BPM bolts. Separate EBTCM from BPM by gently pulling forward. DO NOT pry EBTCM from BPM, if seal is damaged EBTCM must be replaced.
