Installation location
If the customer so wishes, the line compensator can be installed in the left-hand side of the luggage compartment.
Retrofitting on models from 03/2005
The basic fittings for the line compensator are not present from 03/2005. This means that the line compensator can only be retrofitted at considerable expense.

How it works
The line compensator equalizes losses in the aerial cables. The line compensator ensures the full transmitting and receiving power of the mobile phone is available at the aerial. The use of the line compensator increases the transmission output to the GSM antenna to a maximum of 2 watts. Increasing the transmission power extends the range within the GSM mobile phone network.
