Installation location
E63, E64: The aerials are installed under the interior trim of the tailgate. As the tailgate is made of plastic, there is no interference with reception.

E60, E61, E63, E64, E87, E90: GSM ANTENNA LEGEND
E87: The GSM antenna is integrated into the rod aerial. The rod aerial is also used for FM/AM/telephone and GPS reception. The rod aerial is fitted to the roof of the vehicle.
E60, E61, E90
The GSM antenna is integrated into the telephone and GPS aerial. The telephone and GPS aerial is installed on the rear edge of the roof.

The aerial consists of the following individual aerials
- Telephone aerial 1 (GSM)
- Telephone aerial 2 (GSM)
- A GPS aerial for navigation systems (GPS: Global Positioning System).
Both telephone aerials are set up for the frequencies 900 and 1800 MHz. The individual aerials are grouped together in a single housing (see illustration below).
